The “Astrolabe” hotel comprises a total of 10 spacious, comfortably furnished apartments, from which 6 are one-room (40 sq.m., for 1-3 persons) and 4 are two-room (60 sq.m. for up to 4 persons). An apartment suitably fitted for persons with special needs is available on the ground floor.

Thanks to the diversity of its countryside, the region offers opportunities for athletic, as well as mild activities in the nature, on land or in the sea, throughout the year.

• Hiking or trekking on the neighboring mountains, Telethrio, Kavallaris and Xero, through an abundant fir forest. Natural footpaths exist on all three mountains. Also scenic footways connect the waterfalls site at Drymonas to the top of Mt Xero and St. David’s cloister. The Arapis Gorge near Agia Anna is also worth visiting, for its untamed beauty.

• Mountaineering in the stony beauty of Mt Kandili.

• Watching the opulent local flora, that comprises 1824 different kinds of plants. In Euboea 42 endemic plant species have been identified, i.e. not to be found anywhere else on the planet. But also the bird fauna of the region is prolific and infrequent.

• Bicycling on the countless rural roads of the region. A very particular choice is a plateau that lies past the waterfalls at Drymonas.

• Motor vehicling. A number of charted routes exist among the exuberant vegetation of the mountains. There are also ideal off-road routes for 4X4’s and two-wheelers.

• Windsurfing at Kohyli beach. Thanks to local thermal phenomena in Limni’s bay, the winds that blow daily always ensure ideal conditions for surfing fans.

• Water sports (surfing, canoeing, skiing, jet-skiing, pedaloing etc). Infrastructure and rentals are available in Limni and elsewhere around the area.

• Scuba diving into shipwrecks. Trips can be organized by specializing operators in Aedipsos.

• Snorkeling and observation of aquatic life and the vivacious bottom of the Euboean.

• Dolphin watching, in the marine strip between the mainland of Greece and Euboea that is teeming with the friendly mammals.

• Horse back riding at close distance from Chronia by car, in a specially organized equestrian centre.

• 5X5 mini soccer, basketball, and beach volley. Courts exist in the surrounding area.
