Githio
Fist of all, you can explore enchanting Gythion, which numbers roughly 5.000 residents, it constitutes the second in size city of prefecture Lakonia and it is the gate of Manis. Considerably sights are Roman Theatre & Kranai island where are found the Tower of Mavromichalis, current Folklore Museum, but also the marble made Lighthouse of Githio. Also, it deserves to see the neoclassic buildings as the Town hall and the Parthenagogeio of Gythion, two work of Ciller.
Mani with its wild beauty is a particular place. Yoy have to visit Areopoli and a lot of other villages (Vathia, Limeni etc) with traditional architecture. Do not omit to see the Caverns Dirou, which are included in the three more beautiful caverns of world and they have unique natural beauty. The caverns are lacustrine and the tour becomes with boats. Castle of Passava is also interested. Today, the ruins of occidental castle are saved in foot of which is finds the ancient Las city.

SPARTA In Sparta (half hour from Githio) is found the Museum of Olive and Greek Oil, which elects the culture and the technology of olive and olive-crop, that it is connected with the Greek identity. It is the unique in Greece and it is found in of Lakonia’s heart.
