By taking the boat you can visit the beach of Agios Sostis in a majestic landscape with turquoise waters. Steps carved in rock can lead you from the sea to the chapel of Agios Sostis which is curiously built between two encrusted rocks leaving visitos a shiver feeling.
Leaving Parga, just a few km away near the village Mesopotamos you will meet the unique oracle of antiquity called Nekromanteio Acherontato which was built in the 5th century BC and is well preserved and impressive. According to the ancients at this point was the one gate of Hades and was a point at which, after an appropriate preparation, someone could communicate with the underworld.
The Acheron springs is the next attraction and is named so because of the many waters which originate from the village Gliki and fall into the riverbed. This place is incredible and there is no coincidence that the ancients had chosen is as the entrance to the underworld.
Finally the mouth of Acheron is a place where you can visit by boat and you can go up the river nearly up to oracle.
